Choice of packaging can have a big impact when it comes to helping safeguard the environment. We’ve always tried to use planet friendly, minimal packaging for our products but now we’ve decided to go even further.
We realised that it’s not only important that our packaging is easily recyclable - that’s only part of the story. We also needed to consider the ecological impact of our packaging deliveries. Having a UK based packaging supplier can help significantly, so, with this in mind, we changed ours accordingly.
The number of packaging deliveries also obviously impacts the environment. Lots of different sizes of packaging mean more deliveries, so we’ve chosen one style of packaging that will fit every product, ensuring that we will need fewer deliveries.
Our packaging is carbon neutral rather than simply recyclable.
All of these fairly small changes will have a much larger impact on our overall carbon footprint!
In the future, we’ll continue to scrutinise the logistics of our business, and the materials we use, to ensure that we’re doing all we can to help in the battle to safeguard the planet.
